I have money! This is a coin counting and adding exercise in a game play format that involves communication between players. It is an activity best suited for four players. Students should be able to correctly identify pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. Students work together totaling the coins on each card to progress to $1 million dollars.
Sports equipment sorting. A sorting exercise involving sports equipment. Sorting and classifying are basic skills taught to children as part of math programs. Recognizing groups of objects requires logical thinking.

Making change from a dollar. An activity on choosing the correct change from $1.C.C.2.MD.8: Work With Time And Money. Solve word problems involving dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies, using $ and c symbols appropriately. Example: If you have 2 dimes and 3 pennies, how many cents do you have?

Recycling. There are a lot of recyclables on the ground. Children sort them into the various recycle cans.

Laundry sorting. Children sort dirty laundry into darks, light colors and whites and colored clothing.
Match that emotion (1)and (2). Students match the correct words to the pictures of facial expressions.
Reading body temperatures F. Fahrenheit version. Students read thermometers showing body temperatures. They drop the thermometers into the correct row of the table indicating grades of fever represented by the temperatures. Each time the activity runs the thermometers will change positions. Reading temperatures. Students read thermometers showing outside temperatures. They drop the Celsius and Fahrenheit readings into the correct containers beneath each thermometer. The activity has three sets chosen at random, so each time the activity runs it will most likely change. Science/Measurement.
Using temperature conversion tables. Students read thermometers showing body temperatures. They drop the thermometers into the correct row of the table indicating grades of fever represented by the temperatures. Each time the activity runs the thermometers will change positions. Safety signs (1). A simple matching activity to acquaint children with different safety signs and symbols. Items will return if incorrect. Suitable life skills exercise for many grades. Layouts will change every time the activity runs.
Safety signs (2). Each of the safety signs shown on the screen have something missing. Students complete the signs by dragging words or pictures into place. Ask students to explain what the signs mean or show. This activity will be different every time it runs.
Food storage. Children sort shopping into pantry, fridge or freezer storage options.
Set the table 1. Students learn table place settings for a main meal.
Set the table 2. Children learn table place settings for four diners.
Battery replacement. Children choose the correct polarity when replacing batteries.
Paying bills on time. Students will use a calendar to remind them to pay bills on time. Online bills may be paid on the due date, payment in person should be made three days before due date to allow for processing and bills paid by post should be sent five days before the due date.
The right bit. A life skills activity matching screwdriver bits to different types of screws and bolts.
