Atmosphere layers. A drag and drop exercise on the earth's atmospheric layers. An assessment is included.
Element Symbols 1 and 2. A memory game involving the more common elements of the periodic table below #30. Game 2 uses the less obvious symbols for element names.
Frog dissection. Label the internal anatomy of a frog.
Label the wasp. Like all insects, wasps have a hard exoskeleton, six jointed legs, two jointed antennae, strong jaws, and three body parts; the head, the thorax, and the abdomen. Label the wasp diagram.

Electrical circuits (1)-(5). A series of five activities on simple circuits. There is an assessment after the fifth activity.
Terrestrial food chain levels. All living things need energy to stay alive. They get their energy from food. Plants don't eat food because they are producers. They make their own food through the process of photosynthesis. This happens when plants use light energy and carbon dioxide to make food. Thus, energy flows from the Sun, to a producer, and then finally to consumers. At each step of the chain, energy is lost. Children sort animals and organisms to their correct level in the terrestrial food chain.

Fly life cycle. A fly exhibits complete metamorphism, meaning the life cycle includes an egg, larval (maggot) form, pupa and finally emergence as a flying adult. This is the same as the well-known metamorphosis of butterflies. Children use the pre-existing labels to label the life cycle diagram.
